We are looking for a Senior Accountant who combines technical excellence with strong leadership and a proactive mindset.

YOUR IMPACT

 

Financial Reporting & Accounting

– Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.

– Lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements under UGB and IFRS.

– Oversee and maintain the general ledger with precision and completeness.

 

Tax & Compliance

– Ensure timely and accurate filings: VAT, CIT, wage taxes, and other statutory obligations.

– Act as the key contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and authorities.

– Stay ahead of regulatory and accounting standard changes.

 

Internal Controls & Process Excellence

– Design, implement, and monitor robust internal controls.

– Identify and drive process improvements across accounting workflows and systems.

 

Cash Flow & Budget Support

– Provide accurate accounting data for budgeting and forecasting.

– Support cash flow monitoring and financial planning activities.

 

Team Leadership

– Lead and develop a local team of two accountants.

– Allocate tasks, review deliverables, and ensure high-quality output.

 

WHAT YOU BRING

– Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (FH/University).

– Certified Austrian Accountant (Buchhalter/Bilanzbuchhalter) is a strong plus.

– 5+ years of experience, including 2+ years in a senior or supervisory role.

– Solid knowledge of UGB, with IFRS exposure.

– Experience with SAP and BMD.

– Strong Excel skills and good command of English.
